Clock Duration: Each trip is a custom trip. Typically 4 – 12 hours.

Calendar Offered: July 1 – October 31

User Ages: People under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Users Group Size: Maximum 2 for ascents, up to 6 for instructional courses.

Tag Experience: Depends on the objective. Our office will work with you to provide the best options. 

Star Outline Fitness Level: Alpine climbing typically involves a long steady output of energy carrying a 30lb pack. The pace is never too fast, but it does require stamina and endurance. Our office will work with you to find a suitable objective. 

Info What is included: All technical and group equipment.

Info What is not included: Clothing and lunch. Although we have traditionally offered clothing to our guests, our interim Covid operating procedures require that all guests bring their own clothing suitable for the weather. Dollar Price: Starting at $600 + 5% GST (depending on the objective & group size).

Rockaboo Alpine Climbing

Jasper is home to countless world-class alpine climbs. Our office will work with you to find a suitable objective based on fitness, experience and interests. Ranging from snow and ice routes along the Continental Divide to beautiful ridge climbs, Jasper has something for every level of climber. 

Booking a private guide is also a great option to train and learn fundamental skills and advanced techniques. Pricing is based on group size and number of days.

Mount Athabasca

Also known as the Athabasca – Andromeda Col, this is a classic mountaineering objective in the Canadian Rockies. It is the safest route to ascend up the mountain and reach its towering summit above the Columbia Ice Fields.

Mount Edith Cavell is one of the most iconic mountains in Jasper National Park. Its towering North Face rises 1600m above you as you approach the col for the East Ridge.

Mount Pevril

There is a reason they call this mountain the Matterhorn of Jasper. When on the climb you will be surrounded with pink and red Rockies quartzite, and just when you think this climb can’t get any better.
